Finding a motivated seller is the most basic requirement of any budding corporate rental magnate. At the moment, that has never been easier. Families are struggling to make ends meet, and some will do anything to dispose of their property. In a different real estate market, the reasons are a little harder to discern.

The main reasons for someone to sell their home are emotional ones. Those reasons could be divorce, bereavement, relocation, financial issues or perceived property, or neighborhood problems. Your main problem when searching for a corporate rental property is quality and location. Corporate clients are more demanding than standard ones. To work, a property has to be in a good area, near to places of work, near to amenities and near to transport links. It also has to be of a high standard, with decent decoration and decent furniture.

If you’re hunting for a deal, you really do have to work for it. It’s rare indeed that a bargain will fall into your lap. Even in a market like this, you’re going to have to be quick to get the steal on the competition. One of Rome’s most preserved monuments is the Pantheon which borders the Piazza Della Rotonda. The Pantheon is located in the historic center of Rome which is close to the Piazza Navone.

The Pantheon featured an original stairway that led up to the Corinthian porch which is now under current street level. The entrance is lined with 75 foot columns. These columns weigh 60 tons each were carried from distant Egypt. Classical Rome is known for its amazing concrete mastery.

The grand entrance has a large bronze door that provides access to the inside of the Pantheon. Those who are lucky enough to visit should view the temple from the outside before entering. You will see the Pantheon dome which is considered the most remarkable features of the Pantheon rising 71 feet above the base and reaching 142 feet in diameter. No one has been able to figure out how it was constructed.

Right under the dome is a stucco decoration that was applied during the Renaissance. These used to be bronze rosettes and embellishments but fainted over the years. The rest of the interior has remained the same since the days of the Roman Empire.

The Pantheon has been a dedication to the old gods of Rome for over a thousand years when it because the first temple in the city to become Christianized. It was rededicated as the church of the Santa Maria Rotonda, or ad Martyres in AD 609 and still remains the same today.

Rome is a city that has its share of marvelous structures. The ruined arena we know as the Coliseum, also spelled Colosseum is known as one of the best examples of ancient Roman architecture. The Coliseum was once known as the Flavian Amphitheatre under the order of the Emperor Vespasian. It is still unknown as to who designed the Coliseum but whoever he was took over ten years to build. When it was completed it was the largest structure of its type in the world.

During ancient times in the center of the Coliseum was the arena where all the entertainment took place. The arena floor was constructed out of wooden planks which hid dark underground pits and passageways underneath it where the animals and men were kept before a show.

By far the most popular participants were the gladiators. Gladiator duals originated as part of the Etruscan funerary rites as a form of human sacrifices to the gods and by the time of Caesar it had become a blood sport to please the people. These gladiators were often slaves or criminals who were forced to fight for their freedom.

Eventually the barbarians overcame the Eternal City and forced the continent into the Dark Ages leaving the Coliseum completely abandoned. The Coliseum’s reputation goes all the way back to the Middle Ages when Bede wrote the lines: “While the Colosseo stands, Rome shall stand, but when the Colosseo falls, Rome shall fall and when Rome falls, the world will end.

Not only do they amaze us with their intelligence, they entertain us with their antics. These are some of the reasons they remain the most popular sea mammals in the world.   • The largest known freshwater dolphin is found in the Amazon. The Botto dolphin can grow up to 10 feet long.

  • Despite appearances, a dolphin’s skin is similar to a human’s. It is delicate and easily damaged.

  • Dolphins can live to be 50 years old, although the average age in the wild is between 17-20 years.

  • Dolphins are one of the few mammals in the wild to actively care for old and sick pod members. They have been observed helping slower dolphins along and protecting them from predators.
  • They can also be aggressive, bullying by dominant dolphins has been observed in the wild.
  • The deepest a dolphin has dived to our knowledge is 1,000 feet.
  • They can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes, but tend to breather 2-3 times per minute.
  • Their eyes are so good, they can see as effectively underwater as they can above it. Their retinas collect light very effectively allowing them to see clearly while dived.
  • The fastest recorded speed of a dolphin is 25 knots, a speed which they can maintain for prolonged periods.
  • An active adult dolphin can easily eat 30 pounds of fish a day.

These facts were just some of the many we have on these fabulous mammals. They are capable of many feats and many surprises. It’s no wonder they fascinate scientists and the public alike, and will do so forever. Their desire to please and play and their ability to be trained ensures their place in our imagination for a long time to come.

It’s impossible to truly know something we can barely communicate with. Many of these pieces of information have come from just watching them. Observation remains our primary tool for learning about dolphins but it brings as many questions as it does answers. After all, in a species as clever as this, how do we know we’re seeing the truth?
